The E33HRFB-LNK-NS-00 hybrid stepper motor is built by Kollmorgen for the E Hybrid Stepper Motors series. This NEMA 34 frame device translates pulse trains from a drive into incremental 1.8° shaft moves, providing open-loop position control for conveyor indexing, pick-and-place heads, and similar automation loads. The regular leadwire bundle and smooth shaft aid quick integration, while the rigid face flange helps maintain positional accuracy under vibration.
The motor delivers a holding torque of 939 oz-in, giving adequate grip for mid-sized loads even when stationary. With the eight-lead construction, coils can be wired in parallel to draw 5.4 A per phase or in series to limit current to 2.7 A while increasing inductive reactance. The parallel configuration presents 0.55 Ω of phase resistance and 5.7 mH of inductance, letting the drive reach rated torque at higher step rates. Each electrical cycle advances the rotor by 1.8 degrees, so the shaft completes 200 full-step increments per revolution with a ±1.5% accuracy band. The smooth shaft and SIGMAX magnetic construction reduce detent ripple, while three lamination stacks and a rotor inertia of 0.025 oz-in-s² balance dynamic response with holding capability. A heavy-duty NEMA mounting face and a 3.38 in body diameter fit standard machine brackets, and 22 AWG leadwires accommodate common terminal blocks.
The motor’s electrical insulation is rated Class B, 130 °C, with a dielectric withstand limit of 340 Vdc and a minimum insulation resistance of 100 megohms to ground. Heat moves from the winding to the frame along a path of 2.0 °C/W, and continuous duty is permitted across an ambient range of -20 °C to +40 °C when airflow is adequate. Overall weight is 7.6 lb, so the mounting hardware must support that mass along with application forces.
