The motor follows the NEMA mounting pattern, allowing straightforward installation in pick-and-place platforms, small gantries, and other automated stages that rely on step accuracy instead of closed-loop servo feedback. This operating method is well suited to applications that prioritize repeatable positioning and simple drive integration.

Mechanically, the frame diameter is 2.25 in., and the housing conforms to the NEMA 23 size envelope so it can replace similar steppers on existing brackets. Internally, SIGMAX construction, a laminated rotor, and two magnetic stacks increase torque density while helping reduce detent ripple.
