The E22NRFB-LNN-NS-00 is a hybrid stepper motor manufactured by Kollmorgen for the E Hybrid Stepper Motors series. This two-phase device converts pulse trains from an indexer into incremental rotation for conveyors, small slides, and labeling heads in industrial automation. As an open-loop actuator, it provides repeatable positioning for applications that do not require servo feedback. An internal permanent-magnet rotor works with bifilar windings to deliver high holding torque at zero speed. This operating style is well suited to compact machinery that relies on fixed pulse counts for consistent start-stop motion and short indexing moves.

With a frame size of NEMA 23, the motor body measures 2.25 in in diameter, which helps it fit common brackets and compact motion assemblies. The 8 lead arrangement supports parallel, series, or unipolar wiring, so the drive can be matched to available current and voltage. Each input pulse turns the shaft 1.8 degrees, which yields 200 full steps per revolution for straightforward indexing. That wiring flexibility allows the same motor to be adapted to different drive topologies without changing the mechanical package. Two stator stacks increase detent and holding torque, while the laminated rotor helps reduce eddy-current heating.
