Product Description:
The DBL3N00130-0R2-000-S40 is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen for the DBL Synchronous Servomotors series. In automated machinery, it converts drive current into commanded torque and speed so motion controllers can position light gantries, indexing tables, or pick-and-place arms with tight closed-loop accuracy. Its standard-length frame and connectorized terminations reduce installation depth and simplify cable routing in multi-axis systems that require compact components and dependable connections.
At standstill, the motor develops 1.3 Nm of continuous torque, providing sufficient holding force for small loads without external gearing. A square 75 mm flange matches common IEC layouts and centers the rotor precisely against machine plates. The housing is rated IP54, so dust deposits and incidental water splashes do not reach the stator windings during routine plant operation. The permitted operating temperature ranges from +5 to +40 °C, covering most indoor production environments. Electronic components remain stable at a relative humidity of up to 95%. Position feedback is supplied by a resolver, allowing compatible drives to track the shaft angle accurately in the presence of electrical noise. A molded cover shields the feedback connector to prevent contact with live pins, and the cable plugs are angled toward the B-side to provide clearance above the mounting face.
The rotor uses a 2-pole configuration, which supports smooth rotation and low-speed control when paired with a compatible servo drive. A smooth shaft couples directly to clamping hubs or integrated gearheads without the stress concentrations associated with a keyway. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so vertical axes must rely on external clamping or drive-applied torque when power is removed. Standard-speed windings balance back electromotive force with current demand, while the internal insulation and impregnation materials withstand repeated acceleration cycles under the permitted operating conditions.
