Product Description:
The DBL3025030Y560 S-B-P is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen within the DBL Synchronous Servomotors series. This rotary unit supplies closed-loop motion for pick-and-place axes, packaging spindles, and other industrial automation tasks that demand consistent torque at high speed. It integrates a permanent-magnet rotor with electronic commutation to eliminate brush wear and provide precise speed regulation when paired with a Kollmorgen drive.
Rated output on a 400 VAC bus reaches 1.13 kW, and this power rating combines with a nominal shaft speed of 6000 rpm to support rapid cycles in compact machinery. Under those same conditions, the motor can deliver a continuous shaft torque of 1.80 Nm, while its thermal design limits peak winding current to 13 A during acceleration. Standstill excitation is capped at 3.0 A; this lower continuous current curtails copper losses when the axis is holding position. A 75 mm IEC flange enables direct mounting, and the 14 mm shaft diameter accepts couplings or pulleys without additional adapters. The windings present 11.7 mH of inductance and 5.4 Ω of resistance, figures that influence the current loop bandwidth selected in the drive. To prevent overheating, a PTC resistor wired to the feedback connector reports internal temperature, and the radial bearing load may be as high as 350 N without reducing service life.
For position holding during power-off conditions, the integrated brake supplies 2.5 Nm of static torque at a coil voltage of 24 VDC. Dynamic response is linked to the torque constant of 0.83 Nm/A, so every ampere commanded by the drive produces a predictable mechanical output. The motor operates reliably from 5 °C to +40 °C and in environments with up to 95 % relative humidity, provided that axial loading does not exceed 85 N. Standard-length construction keeps the mass within limits, and a winding back-EMF constant of 50 mV/1000 rpm supports encoder-based commutation without excessive voltage feedback.
