As a brushless servo motor, it converts drive current into controlled rotary motion for axes that need repeatable acceleration, steady running speed, and accurate stopping behavior. This standard-length unit provides continuous torque and speed regulation in automated pick-and-place stations, indexing tables, and packaging axes. It is delivered without a holding brake, so static load retention must be supplied by the drive or an external locking device. The housing has a rotatable orientation feature that lets the cable exit be aligned as needed, and the special option code is Standard, which indicates that the motor has no custom modifications.

The motor mounts to machinery with a 55 mm flange and routes power and feedback through angle connectors that are sealed to the frame.
