Product Description:
The ST-5101 is a special I/O module that Kollmorgen made that can work with high-speed counters. The module is designed to be integrated into automation systems that require precise position counting and input from encoders. It is mounted on a DIN rail and has a single channel for counter functions.
A high-speed clock can be implemented on one channel of the ST-5101 I/O module. It is compatible with a standard 35mm DIN rail and includes a cage clamp connector-equipped terminal block that can be removed. When the I/O module is connected to 5.0VDC, 80mA of current flows through it. It can put out voltages between 18 and 28.8VDC. The interface is made to work with systems that need to receive signals quickly. It is a special I/O module. One Green/Red Fn-Bus Status LED, two Green Up/Down Status LEDs, and one Green Terminal Input LED are some of the system signs that show how the module is working. It is used when signal counting needs to be done quickly and correctly. Through its LED indicators, the ST module gives you clear visual feedback that makes troubleshooting and signal tracking easier while it's running. For processing, it works with other parts of the motion control system that need accurate input data and stable voltage levels.
As long as the humidity level stays between 5% and 95%, the ST-5101 I/O module will work. The temperature range for use is -20℃ to 55℃. Within certain environmental limits, these specifications make sure that the module's function stays stable. The ST module is designed to be used in systems that need reliable encoder input and fast counter processing. The module works with programs that need to respond quickly and track data in real time.
