The unit conditions incoming AC mains power and delivers a regulated, sinusoidal output to brushless motors while monitoring shaft position with resolver feedback. In automated packaging, material-handling, or indexing systems, it acts as the power interface between the controller and the motor, converting fixed-frequency supply power into dynamically controlled torque and speed commands.
At 230 VAC, the drive draws 1.8 kVA on single-phase lines or 2.8 kVA on three-phase feeds, and its inverter section modulates the bridge at 8 kHz to minimize ripple. Continuous motor current is limited to 6 Arms for thermal steady-state operation, while acceleration bursts can reach 18 Arms for 500 ms without exceeding device limits. The input accepts either 115 VAC or 230 VAC, and a 15 A line fuse isolates faults. With those supplies, the drive can output 1.4 kVA on single-phase power or 2.2 kVA on three-phase power while maintaining a sinusoidal waveform that reduces audible noise.
