Shaft position is read through a resolver feedback channel, allowing the drive to synchronize its output with the motor’s electrical angle while maintaining tight speed control in industrial automation applications such as indexing tables, winders, and small pick-and-place axes.
The power section can supply a continuous output of 3 A RMS, while transient demands of up to 9 A RMS are supported for 500 ms to accelerate inertial loads. A space-vector modulation carrier switches at 16 kHz, and the position loop is refreshed every 500 µs. These parameters minimize audible noise and reduce cogging at low speeds. Internal heat dissipation is limited to 60 W, so cabinet airflow must accommodate that fixed thermal load.
