It converts fixed-frequency mains power into controlled three-phase output for Goldline submersible servo motors, allowing precise torque, velocity, and position regulation in automated machinery. By executing nested current, velocity, and position loops within its control system, the unit supplies regulated motor power while monitoring thermal and electrical limits. This operation supports conveyor sections, coordinated axes, and process equipment that require deterministic motion control and consistent responses to changing loads.
The power stage accepts a 230 VAC three-phase supply and can draw up to 13 A on each line, resulting in an input demand of 4.6 kVA at full load. Internally, pulse-width modulation operates at 8 kHz, so the motor windings experience low current ripple and reduced acoustic noise. The drive delivers an output of 10 A per phase, providing 3.5 kVA of output capacity across its motor terminals while dissipating 132 W of heat through the heat sink and enclosure surfaces.
