Product Description:
The PRD-0030000G-45 is a CD servo drive that is most commonly used for tasks in industrial automations. It is made by Kollmorgen and it is among the most effective products of the CD Servostar CD Drives series.
The PRD-0030000G-45 CD Drive can communicate using analog signals which enables coordination with motor and I/O modules for real time control. The module has an input voltage range of 110 – 230 VAC and it supports both single and three phase AC which makes it adaptable to different supply setups. It is physically stable and can operate reliably in environments with mild mechanical vibrations up to 5 g. It can momentarily supply high current up to 12 amperes during peak motor load conditions like startup or shock loads which enhances its performance. The safe and reliable operation is possible within +5°C to +45°C industrial temperature conditions which protects internal components from thermal stress. The drive has a communication interface of RS232/485 which enables digital communication with host systems, such as PLCs or HMIs through widely accepted industrial protocols. It is able to function in environments with varied humidity levels as long as condensation is avoided. The PRD-0030000G-45 CD drive uses a resolver sensor to precisely control motor position and current which is ideal for high accuracy motion applications. The drive has a power demand of 0.89 – 2.8 kVA at various loads. It is compatible with resolver equipped motors which are rugged and reliable for harsh industrial conditions. It is featured with an under voltage trip mechanism which protects the system by shutting down if the DC voltage falls below 90 volts DC which prevents motor stalling and control errors.
