Product Description:

The LE06565 is a servo driver which is developed by the Kollmorgen. It comes within the CD Servostar CD Drives and as an efficient and cost effective model for the control of AC servo motors. It is best used for tasks in industrial automation applications.

The LE06565 servo driver has the torque updates quality up to 16 kHZ. This means it can update its torque control feature 16,000 times in a second. This quick update rate is very crucial for precisely controlling the servo motor. This also allows it to perform smoothly and also enables it to respond promptly to changes in the load or speed. It accepts the control signals with a wider voltage range from 5 V to 24 V. This helps it to work very well on different control systems as well as interfaces. The provision of two bi directional RS422 communication channels enhances its effectiveness in data transmission. The RS 422 is a serial communication protocol that is recognized for its reliable operation over long distances. The Bi directional input outputs represent that it can send and receive the data which is used for communicating with external systems.

The LE06565 servo driver comes with an encoder for a feedback system. This type of feedback feature allows it to accurately control the motor speed as well as its position. It is also included with two analog inputs that allows this model to receive analog signals. Before quadrature decoding this module can handle 3 MHz of encoder pulse frequency. While after quadrature it is able to handle 12 MHz of pulse frequency. Each pulse depicts 4 position counts that help increase the resolution effectively.

Frequently Asked Questions about LE06565:

Q: Why is the 5V to 24V control voltage range important?

A: The wide voltage range of the LE06565 servo driver supports compatibility with diverse control systems and interfaces. This increases flexibility in industrial automation setups.

Q: What is the benefit of RS422 bi-directional communication channels?

A: The LE06565's two RS422 channels enable reliable long-distance data transfer. They also support simultaneous send/receive operations, improving communication with external systems.

Q: How does quadrature decoding increase resolution?

A: Quadrature decoding in the LE06565 enables four position counts per encoder pulse. This improves feedback resolution up to 12 MHz for enhanced positional accuracy.

Q: What role do the analog inputs play in operation?

A: The LE06565 has two analog inputs to accept external analog control signals. These inputs allow dynamic adjustments to speed and torque in real-time.

Q: Why does the LE06565 support incremental encoders?

A: Incremental encoders provide precise position feedback for real-time corrections during operation. This feature enhances both speed control and precise positioning of the motor.
