The LB20565 Servo Amplifier is manufactured by Kollmorgen for precise motor control. It supports a 230 VAC 3 phase input and delivers up to 4.5 kW output power. This model is ideal for industrial automation. It ensures reliable speed and position control for servo motors.
The LB20565 servo amplifier operates on a 230 VAC 3 phase input with a 20 A RMS current rating. Output voltage and current are also 230 VAC and 20 A RMS respectively. It delivers a maximum continuous power output of 4.5 kW. The total power supply rating is 8 kW. It supports a range of feedback devices including incremental encoders with HED (A/B or A/B/Z), HED sine wave or six step and resolvers requiring an external 24 VDC logic power source. For configuration, users can utilize MOTIONLINK® software or the Personality Module for fast setup. The device includes multiple connection ports: C1 and C2 are standard DB serial/communication ports, C3 is likely for I/O or feedback input and C4 (In) and C5 (Out) are SynqNet network ports using RJ-45 connectors. Motor and power terminals include L1, L2, L3 for AC input, Ma, Mb, Mc for motor phase output and B+ and C for a brake resistor or DC bus connection.
The LB20565 servo amplifier features integrated velocity and position control loops. The velocity loop has a 250 µs (4 kHz) update rate with a bandwidth of less than 400 Hz. Speed command resolution is 12 bit for both serial and analog with an optional 14 bit resolution. It supports a maximum speed of 500 Hz which translates to either 1 RPM (serial input) or an analog derived speed calculated as (1/2048) multiplied by VMAX. The long term speed regulation accuracy is 0.01 % determined by the microprocessor clock tolerance.
