Kollmorgen manufactures the CR10261 as a high-performance SSR technology made to switch AC loads safely in industrial control systems.
Designed to deliver reliable performance, this SSR replaces traditional electromechanical switches with a wear-free alternative that provides fast, quiet switching actions ideal for demanding applications. This product works with devices that use AC power between 24 and 280 volts due to its versatile load voltage capabilities. The device enables control over devices and equipment with load currents up to 25A, which includes motor control applications and heat or light systems used in industry. This control device works well with a control voltage span of 3 to 32 DCV through different control systems that include PLCs and microcontrollers. The relay system connects load and control sections through an optically isolated phototriac coupler that protects against overvoltages with 2500 Vrms dielectric strength. Safety performance is top-level, and shielded protection from electrical interference protects the system.
The relay has minimal switching delays of 20 milliseconds for turn-on and 30 milliseconds for turn-off, keeping operations prompt and efficient. This device handles extreme environmental conditions because it works between -30°C to +80°C and stays safe at temperatures from -30°C to +100°C. The flame-retardant plastic housing performs multiple safety tasks by insulating electrical components and protecting against fire hazards.
