By combining a voltage-mode command interface with high-speed feedback processing, the drive supplies precise current to the motor phases, enabling repeatable motion profiles in packaging lines, pick-and-place stations, and other multi-axis systems.
During continuous operation, the amplifier delivers a rated phase current of 6 A, which is suitable for mid-frame servomotors used with medium-inertia loads. The current regulator closes at 2.5 kHz, while digital pulse-width modulation refreshes at 16 kHz; these operating rates help minimize current ripple and audible noise.
