The CE06200 is a servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen for the CD Servostar CD Drives series. It supplies regulated power to brushless servo motors used in material-handling cells, indexing tables, and automated packaging lines. Encoder feedback is processed internally, so the drive can close velocity and position loops without external cards. This arrangement supports precise starts, stops, and position changes in compact automated equipment. The drive is intended for installations where motor control, feedback processing, and compact mounting need to be combined in one unit. Cabinet installation is supported by its 83.3 mm width, 163.0 mm depth, 256.0 mm height, 2.22 kg mass, and single-phase input for standard plant mains.
Current regulation updates every 62.5 µs, helping keep phase error small when load torque changes suddenly. The power stage switches at an 8 kHz PWM rate, which balances acoustic noise with switching loss. Under continuous duty, the drive can supply a phase current of 6 A. For short overloads, it delivers 12 A RMS/phase for two seconds or 18 A RMS/phase for 500 milliseconds. These short-time overload levels support rapid acceleration when the driven load has significant inertia. A sensor near the power devices initiates shutdown at an overtemperature threshold of 80 °C, helping prevent solder fatigue and dielectric breakdown during sustained peak duty. The drive also uses a 15 A line-side fuse rating for upstream protection. These protection functions act on the power stage directly instead of relying on separate external protection cards.
