Kollmorgen CE03706 CD Drives are high-performance drives for several industrial motion control applications that require reliable and precise motion. These drives have been built for maximum efficiency in single and three-phase systems with a continuous power output of 0.35 kVA at 115V, and 0.8 kVA at 230V. At the peak load duration between 500 milliseconds to 2 seconds, the drive is designed to output up to 6 A peak current at a rated load. By operating at 8 kHz of PWM frequency, it ensures smooth and effective power conversion, thus suitable for automated systems and machinery.

The Kollmorgen CD Servostar drives' robust protective units are significant features. These features include an overvoltage trip set to 380VDC and an overtemperature trip at 85 C. It ensures that the system is safe to use in extreme conditions. It offers a continuous current capacity of 3.4 A at 230V in both single-phase and three-phase configurations for continuous performance over long periods, and maximum heat dissipation of only 60W to ensure optimum performance with minimum heat generation.

The drive is engineered to efficiently work in a wide range of environmental conditions. Kollmorgen CD Servostar CD Drives operate at a temperature range from 5C to 45C (41F to 113F) and storage temperatures in the range of -10 to 70 C, making it suitable for use with different types of machines in industrial applications. An altitude derating feature is included in the drive that reduces the performance by 5 % per 1000 ft (1000m) increase in altitude above 3300 ft msi.
