Product Description:

The CE03261 is an industrial servo drive that is produced by Kollmorgen and has been efficiently tested and certified to operate according to the Canadian and united states safety standards. This servo drive is an upgrade over the CD series 2 drive controller, also manufactured by Kollmorgen; it conatins some additional features that make it more efficient and more suitable for production systems. Some of these additional features include a sine encoder, a Stegmann hiperface, a software resolver, and a SERCOS communication interface. The CE03261 drive controller is also designed to withstand harsh industrial conditions; the enclosure unit of the controller meets the IP20 protection class; thus, it can effectively protect internal components of the controller from the interference of solid foreign materials.

The CE03261 industrial servo drive is designed specifically for the closed-loop control of the speed, torque output, power, and general operation of brushless synchronous servo motors used in industrial machines. The continuous rated current required by the servo drive is about 3 Amperes. Also, the controller operated with a rated voltage of about 24 volts. This servo drive keeps a tab on the operational status of the synchronous motor and immediately corrects any deviation of the motor from the predetermined operational instructions.

The CE03261 is about 3.6 kilograms; during operation, the servo drive does not generate a high amount of heat; thus, a clearance as low as 12.7 millimeters can be kept between the controller and the nearest industrial device. All parts of this controller must be connected to a grounding system before the operation as the controller generates a leakage current as high as 3.5 Amperes during operation.
