The CH043A-13-3105 is a frameless cartridge direct-drive rotary motor produced by Kollmorgen for the Cartridge DDR Motors series. Its stator slides into a precisely machined bore while the rotor clamps to the load shaft, removing belts and gearboxes from the drivetrain. This arrangement supplies direct, high-precision rotation for indexing tables, robotic joints, and other industrial automation axes that require tight positioning and repeatable torque.
With a 480 V AC bus, the motor sustains a continuous stall torque of 11.1 N·m while drawing 4.73 A rms, establishing the thermal limit that servo drives must respect. The winding can deliver a rated mechanical output of 2402 W at 2500 rpm, so moderate-power loads can be coupled without speed reduction. The motor reaches an IP65 protection rating after the mounting face and gaskets are installed, protecting the internal laminations from dust and sprayed fluids. Phase resistance is 3.97 Ω at 25 °C, and the 90-degree rotatable connector allows the power and feedback leads to be oriented for the machine layout. The 201.7 mm stator fits a 32 mm machine bore, and position data travels over an EnDat serial interface for high-resolution commutation.
