Product Description:

The BDS4A-203J-0001\104A2 Servo Amplifier delivers reliable operation with excellent speed regulation. The amplifier supports high speed performance and is suitable for industrial automation systems requiring stable servo control.

The BDS4A-203J-0001\104A2 servo amplifier operates on a DC bus voltage ranging from 250 V DC to 360 V DC. It accepts unregulated logic bus input of ± 14.5 – 26 V DC at 0.25 amps and + 6.5 – 14 V DC at 0.50 amps. This amplifier module is capable to deliver 3 Arms of nominal current and 6 Arms of peak current per phase for the time period of 2 sec. At 330 VDC, it provides 1.1 KVA continuous and 2.2 KVA peak output power. The module dissipates 40 W of power. The amplifier uses a PWM frequency of 10.0 kHz along with 20 kHz of current ripple frequency. It ensures motor efficiency with a ripple frequency tolerance of ± 10 %. The resolver excitation frequency is 7.0 kHz and the speed regulation is tightly maintained at 0.075 % per degree Celsius over long durations. It also maintains a form factor RMS/AVG of ≤ 1.01.

The Kollmorgen BDS4A-203J-0001\104A2 servo amplifier is capable of operating at ambient temperatures from 0 °C to 45 °C and can be stored safely within – 20 °C to + 70 °C. It tolerates humidity levels between 10 % to 90 % non condensing. The amplifier integrates a 12 bit R/D converter with a tracking rate of 8000 RPM and supports a maximum operating speed of 7500 RPM. It does not include a fan AC line input. This configuration ensures reliability without requiring forced air cooling. The BDS series servo amplifier is built to accommodate additional integrated or optional circuit boards within the BDS4 chassis.
