The AKM2G-71N-ANDNCA00 is a servo motor produced by Kollmorgen for the AKM2G Magnetic Motors series. Designed as a standard-configuration unit, it supplies closed-loop rotary motion to packaging, material-handling, and assembly equipment. This variant is delivered without a holding brake, so static load retention must be addressed by the drive or an external clamp. By pairing a permanent-magnet rotor with digital feedback, the motor provides accurate positioning over its entire speed range while keeping installation dimensions compatible with IEC-style machinery. Its standard configuration also supports controlled axes that require repeatable acceleration, deceleration, and stopping behavior during frequent start-stop cycles.

Electrical and signal connections use a single HTEC M23 hybrid connector that carries power, feedback, and earth conductors. When mated, the connector meets IP65, blocking dust and low-pressure water so the motor can mount on exposed frames. Position data comes from an integrated SFD3 Smart Feedback Device Gen. 3, streaming high-resolution signals to Kollmorgen drives and removing the need for battery-backed encoders.
