The AKM2G-71L-ANDNCA00 is a servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the AKM2G Magnetic Motors series. This electromechanical actuator converts drive current into rotary motion for automated conveyors, indexing tables, and coordinated multi-axis gantries. By tightly coupling rotor and stator fields, the motor supports rapid acceleration and precise positioning for industrial automation equipment that depends on accurate, repeatable motion during continuous operating cycles.
It operates reliably between 5–40 °C, so it can be installed in machinery enclosures without active cooling. The molded connector housing carries an ingress rating of IP65, which blocks dust and low-pressure water exposure during normal operation. Power and feedback conductors terminate in a single 1 htec M23 plug, which simplifies cable routing and reduces the number of separate connections at the motor. Position feedback is supplied by the digital SFD3 Smart Feedback Device Gen. 3, allowing compatible drives to identify the motor automatically and process operating data directly through the feedback channel. The motor uses a 192 mm frame size, which provides additional torque capacity while keeping the overall package suitable for compact machine layouts.
A mounting flange machined to IEC with accuracy N supports alignment with geared reducers or direct couplings without added shims. The winding insulation tolerates site moisture levels up to 95% relative humidity, provided condensation is avoided during operation and storage.
