The AKM2G-43D-ANDNCA00 is a servo motor built by Kollmorgen as part of the AKM2G Magnetic Motors series. In automated machinery, it delivers responsive rotary motion for pick-and-place heads, conveyors, and other axes that require closed-loop speed and position control. Its feedback-ready design supports repeatable acceleration, deceleration, and positioning in compact machine assemblies. The unit is supplied without an integrated holding brake, so applications that need power-off clamping must rely on external devices.

The motor operates in ambient temperatures from 5–40 °C, allowing use in typical equipment enclosures without forced cooling. When powered, its connector housing maintains a sealing level of IP65, which helps keep dust and water jets away from the electrical interface. All electrical lines exit through a single HTEC M23 connector, which simplifies cable routing and grounding. Reliable operation is supported in atmospheres reaching 95% relative humidity, and the stator insulation system is intended to resist moisture-related electrical stress within that limit. Mechanically, the motor mounts by an IEC flange with accuracy N, allowing direct attachment to standardized couplings or gearheads. Position and velocity data are generated by the integrated SFD3 Smart Feedback Device Gen. 3, enabling direct communication with compatible Kollmorgen drives. Torque is transmitted through a smooth shaft, which is suited to clamp-style hubs and helps minimize fretting at the joint. To monitor winding heat, the stator includes a PT-1000 + PTC sensor set so the drive can reduce output or initiate a controlled shutdown before thermal stress becomes excessive.
