The AKM2G-41E-ANDNCA00 is a servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen and assigned to the AKM2G Magnetic Motors series. Supplied in a standard configuration, it couples a permanent-magnet rotor to electronic drives so that machinery can execute precise positioning and velocity profiles under feedback control across indexing, transfer, and other light motion tasks. As a compact 88 mm-frame device, it is suited for automated handling applications that need rapid acceleration, repeatable stops, and a small mounting footprint.
An industrial M23 signal and power interface is provided through a 1 htec M23 connector, and its shell sealing achieves IP65 protection for mounting close to the driven mechanism. The stator windings are monitored by a PT-1000 + PTC thermal set that helps the drive limit current before insulation temperatures are exceeded during sustained duty. Position data are returned by a SFD3 Smart Feedback Device Gen. 3, giving single-cable connectivity and absolute multi-turn resolution to the controller. This arrangement reduces separate feedback wiring and helps keep cable routing compact in tightly spaced machine sections. Mechanical integration follows an IEC with accuracy N flange pattern so the motor seats directly on compatible gearheads or machine plates with consistent alignment. An 88 mm square frame and rotor length code 1 keep the mass low while still supporting the torque density expected from the AKM2G platform.
The motor can operate continuously between 5–40 °C ambient and up to 95% relative humidity without condensation, making it suitable for humid production floors that remain within typical HVAC limits. The output uses a Smooth shaft design, which simplifies coupling to clamp or collet hubs and avoids keyway stress risers during high-cycle reversing. That shaft form also supports concentric clamping arrangements where low backlash and straightforward hub removal are preferred. The motor does not include an integral holding brake, so static load retention must be provided by the connected drive or external mechanics when the axis is stopped.
