The AKM2G-31E-ANDNLD10 is a servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen and delivered within the AKM2G Magnetic Motors series. As a rotary actuator, it converts drive current into tightly regulated motion for positioning tables, pick-and-place arms, and axis drives. Its compact size and rapid dynamic response suit industrial automation cells with limited installation space and demanding motion cycles.
The motor remains thermally stable between 5–40 °C, so no derating is necessary within this ambient temperature range. A sealed connector rated at IP65 prevents dust and low-pressure water jets from reaching the internal contacts. Power and feedback lines exit through a single HTEC M23 connector, simplifying cable routing and minimizing the required footprint. Position data are read with an EnDat 2.2/22 inductive sensor, providing high-resolution digital feedback for compatible Kollmorgen drives. Winding temperature is monitored by a PT-1000 element, allowing the controller to limit current if the stator approaches its thermal limit. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so mechanical clamping or drive torque must maintain a static load. The unit has the standard customization level, while rotor length code 1 keeps inertia low for fast acceleration.
