The AKM2G-23D-ANDNCA00 is a servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the AKM2G Magnetic Motors series. Designed for closed-loop industrial automation, the unit delivers controlled torque and speed so actuators, gantry slides, and pick-and-place heads follow programmed motion profiles without overshoot or drift. Its compact construction allows direct mounting to gear stages or timing pulleys where space is limited. It is suited to packaging, assembly, and transfer equipment where repeatable acceleration and stable positioning are required over frequent duty cycles.
To simplify wiring, the stator endbell carries a sealed power-and-feedback connector rated at IP65, which blocks dust penetration and low-pressure water jets when the mating plug is installed. The mating interface follows the 1 htec M23 pinout, so a single hybrid plug can carry power, signal, and shield continuity through one connection point. A 58 mm square mounting face establishes the motor frame size, and the flange follows IEC accuracy N so the housing seats correctly on metric gearboxes. Inside the housing, the SFD3 Smart Feedback Device Gen. 3 returns absolute multi-turn position data over the same cable, which helps reduce cable clutter and supports responsive servo control. The motor operates in ambient temperatures from 5–40 °C and tolerates up to 95% relative humidity without condensation. For thermal monitoring, a PT-1000 + PTC sensor pair is embedded in the windings so the drive can reduce current before excessive heat develops. Output torque is transmitted through a smooth shaft, which works well with clamping couplings and avoids keyway stress concentrations. Because the motor is supplied without a brake, static holding torque must be provided externally or by drive excitation. The standard customization variant is intended for installations that use AKM2G dimensions and matching electrical characteristics.
