The AKM72L-KKCNR-00 is a robust servomotor from the house of Kollmorgen. It is designed to be driven by a SERVOSTAR servo amplifier under torque and/or speed control. The motor features an open keyway shaft without a shaft seal. The shaft is balanced with a short (half) key. An add-on kit is available for this servomotor for forced ventilation. The device must be protected from unacceptable stresses. Special care must be taken when handling and transporting the unit. The motor has a flange size of 188 mm and its rotor length is 2. As the weight of the AKM servomotor is over 20 kg, it should only be lifted and moved using lifting eyes for motor safety. The site of installation must be free of conductive and aggressive material. In the case of V3 mounting, it is important to ensure that liquids do not enter the ball bearings of the device. When the motor is in live state, connectors must not be unplugged.
