The AKM65P-ACCNDA01 is an AC synchronous servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. Intended for closed-loop industrial drives, it pairs with compatible digital amplifiers to deliver tightly regulated torque and speed. By combining permanent-magnet excitation with high-resolution feedback, the motor supports rapid acceleration, stable velocity control, and repeatable positioning on pick-and-place arms, form-fill-seal stations, and electronic assembly gantries.

It features two SpeedTec Ready connectors that separate power and feedback, which helps speed installation and reduces the chance of phase reversal. A factory-installed shaft seal helps protect the front bearing against coolant splash and airborne dust near process tooling. The optical scale supplies 512/2048 lines/rev, enabling the drive to interpolate fine increments for smooth control loops. The integrated EnDAT 2.1 encoder transmits that data digitally and supports electronic nameplate storage. The feedback system is single-turn optical, which is suitable for point-to-point moves that do not exceed one revolution. Because the unit is supplied without a brake, a static load must be held by external clamping or drive torque. Rotor length index 5 increases continuous torque without adding excess inertia, and the P winding matches medium-voltage drives.

The feedback head identified as ECN1113/1313 mounts at the rear of the stator and is compatible with Kollmorgen AKD and S700 drives. An IEC accuracy N flange allows direct attachment to gearboxes or machine frames without shimming. The 138 mm frame length provides the magnetic volume needed for the index 5 torque rating while keeping installation depth moderate. A keyway shaft provides positive torque transmission to hubs or pulleys, which helps prevent slip during rapid reversals. The flange and shaft arrangement also supports direct mechanical coupling in axes that require accurate alignment and repeatable power transfer.
