The AKM65K-ACC2R-00 is a Kollmorgen motor from the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a permanent-magnet servo unit, it supplies high-bandwidth torque under closed-loop control so that indexing, forming, or vision-tracked axes can hold commanded positions with minimal following error in industrial automation cells. Its servo design supports precise acceleration, holding, and speed regulation when paired with a compatible drive amplifier. This model is supplied in the standard customization level and uses feedback hardware in size 10/15/21.

An integrated 24 V holding brake secures the load when power is removed, preventing back-driving on vertical or unbalanced shafts. Power and feedback are routed through 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors, allowing tool-free quarter-turn mating in tight cabinets. Rotary feedback is handled by a resolver, whose electromagnetic windings provide angle data that resists electrical noise. The resolver is a single-turn inductive device with a two-pole feedback arrangement, giving the drive one electrical cycle per mechanical revolution for commutation.
