The Kollmorgen AKM63G-ANCNR-00 is a brushless servo motor in the AKM6 subseries in the wider AKM series. Motors in this series are used in printing, aerospace, food and beverage processing, defense, pharmaceutical manufacturing, warehouse automation, among other industries. By being easy to use and supporting faster commissioning, the time taken to set-up a servo system is greatly reduced. The AKM63G-ANCNR-00 provides industry-leading motor power density because it has an exceptionally low cogging. The motor provides feedback to the controlling drive by using a single turn, inductive resolver with two poles.
With angular and rotatable connectors, the motor can be mounted with the shaft facing downwards, upwards, or sideways. By supporting a number of mounting positions, the AKM63G-ANCNR-00 perfectly adapts to the industrial needs. Interfacing the motor with a Kollmorgen digital amplifier enhances the motor’s flexibility enabling it to be used with a wide range of industrial applications.
