The AKM54H-ACCNR-00 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. The unit converts drive current into precisely regulated torque for positioning axes, pick-and-place stages, and other closed-loop automation tasks that require fast response and repeatability. Its compact envelope allows direct attachment to gearboxes or linear stages, making it useful in packaging, electronics assembly, and material-handling equipment that rely on dense motion layouts and consistent axis control.
The motor is supplied without a brake, so holding force must be generated by the drive or by an external mechanism. Power and feedback connections exit through 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors, enabling keyed, tool-free cabling. Inside the back housing, a resolver with 2-pole resolution provides rotor position feedback for servo loops, and its size category is Size 10/15/21 to match standard drive electronics. The face mounting pattern uses an IEC flange with accuracy N, which helps maintain concentric alignment with metric gearheads.
