The AKM53M-CNCNEM00 is a permanent-magnet servo motor built by Kollmorgen and delivered within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a rotary actuator, it converts drive current from a matched servo amplifier into precisely controlled mechanical motion for positioning tables, pick-and-place modules, and other automated axes on factory floors. Its electromagnetic design is optimized for closed-loop applications where rapid torque rise and repeatable speed regulation are required. This allows the motor to support accurate acceleration, steady running speed, and responsive position correction during multi-axis operation.
The motor’s physical envelope is set by its frame dimension of 108 mm, a width that helps determine mounting clearance. Electrical and feedback terminations use two SpeedTec Ready connectors, and these keyed plugs support tool-free cable engagement. The stator face follows the drilling pattern identified as alternative flange variant C, allowing direct attachment to gearboxes or plates cut for that variant. Copper distribution follows the M winding, a designation associated with the motor’s voltage constant and rated current.
