Product Description:
The AKM53H-CC1NR-00 is a brushless AC servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. The unit serves as a drive element that translates controlled current from a digital servo amplifier into accurate shaft rotation for packaging lines, robotic joints, and general machine-tool feeds. Because it belongs to Kollmorgen’s standard configuration level, it can be integrated without special mechanical changes in typical installations. Its permanent-magnet rotor and stator winding topology provide high torque density, supporting compact installation where cabinet or gantry space is limited.
Position feedback is delivered through a resolver, which provides rotor angle information to the drive during operation. This resolver uses 2 poles, so the controller receives two electrical cycles per mechanical revolution. Because the sensor is a single-turn inductive type, it reports position within one mechanical revolution without relying on optical disks, which helps it resist dust and oil mist. The feedback package uses size 10/15/21 dimensions, matching the outline used for this feedback format. The motor also has a 108 mm frame dimension, which suits the square flange and matches mounts or gearheads designed for this platform.
The motor uses Alternative Flange Variant C, which places the pilot-hole pattern in a layout intended for equipment that does not use the standard AKM bolt circle. Torque is transmitted through a shaft with a keyway, allowing the coupling to engage positively instead of depending on friction alone. It has a rotor length index of 3, which places it in a mid-length format suited to moderate torque and inertia requirements. The motor also uses winding designation H, which corresponds to a specific voltage constant for compatible drives. The motor comes without a brake, so any power-off holding function must be provided by external equipment.
