The AKM52G-BSCN2-02 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. The motor positions loads or follows motion profiles in automated equipment where repeatability, fast response, and compact size are critical to throughput and product quality.
This model is supplied without a brake, which eliminates residual drag and suits applications that do not require power-off holding torque. Power and feedback are routed through two SpeedTec-ready connectors, allowing tool-free, quarter-turn mating in densely arranged panels. Rotary position is sensed at 2048 lines per revolution, and this resolution supports fine incremental movements and smooth velocity loops. The sensing element is a Comcoder, so digital incremental channels and an index pulse are available for drive alignment.
