The AKM52G-ACCNR-00 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. This model belongs to the AKM5 mechanical class and is intended for packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and other closed-loop positioning axes that require precise torque and velocity control. Its compact form allows installation in machinery with limited space while supporting moderate continuous-torque demands. Electronic commutation allows a compatible servo drive to regulate motor current in response to changing motion commands and operating loads.
The motor is supplied without a brake, reducing rotational drag, although an external holding mechanism may be required when the axis must remain stationary without power.
