The AKM52E-CNA2R-70 is a brushless servo motor made by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a rotary actuator, it converts drive current from a matched servo amplifier into precise mechanical motion for indexing tables, packaging axes, or articulated robot joints. The motor couples directly to the load to deliver repeatable position, speed, and torque control in industrial automation cells where coordinated multi-axis motion is required. Its compact servo design makes it suitable for installations that need accurate response without adding unnecessary mechanical complexity.
It incorporates a 24 V holding brake that locks the shaft when power is removed, helping prevent back-driving on vertical or load-biased axes.
