The motor is supplied without a brake, so holding torque during power-off must be provided by the drive or an external clamp. A single i-tec Hybrid or SpeedTec Ready Hybrid connector carries power, feedback, and protective earth connections, simplifying cabinet wiring. The square housing measures 108 mm across the frame, allowing direct replacement of legacy AKM5 units without altering the mounting centers.
