It pairs electromagnetic efficiency with a compact 108 mm frame, giving machine builders a mid-size rotor that fits IEC-pattern gearboxes and couplings without extra spacers. Used with Kollmorgen servo drives, the unit supports deterministic motion profiles so equipment can reach commanded positions quickly and repeatably.
This model is supplied without a brake, so mechanical holding torque must be provided elsewhere when power is removed. Power and feedback lines terminate on 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors, allowing tool-free quarter-turn locking during assembly. Rotor position information comes from a Resolver, selected for its temperature resilience and analog commutation signals. With 2 poles of magnetic resolution, the resolver works efficiently with standard digital converters while avoiding multiple pole-pair commutation errors.
