The AKM44J-ANSNS-04 is a servo motor built to improve the operation performance of industrial machines by functioning as a reliable source of kinetic energy. The motor is a high-performance device that is able to generate a torque output as high as 20.4-newton meters while operating with a continuous current of about 8.8 amperes. The motor is classified under the IP65 category; its strong metallic enclosure protects it against common environmental interference, allowing the motor to generate a torque output that is up to 42 percent higher than other motors in the same size range. The mounts available for this motor make it possible for it to be easily installed into any position desired by operators. The flange size of this motor design is about 84 millimeters, and the motor also comes with 4 rotor stack length.

The shaft present on the AKM44J-ANSNS-04 is a smooth shaft that comes with a sealing ring designed to prevent the penetration of dust and solids into the housing of the motor. For best performance, this motor should be operated in combination with the AKD servo drive series from Kollmorgen. There are electrical connectors integrated on top of the motor for the integration of the power and motor feedback cable into the motor housing. The AKM44J-ANSNS-04 is without any holding brake; the power and the electrical feedback cable used with the motor are not included in its delivery package. These cables are to be separately ordered.

The AKM44J-ANSNS-04 motor is fitted with an electrically isolated PTC Avalanche-Type-thermal sensor, which operates with the feedback system in the motor to transmits the temperature sensor status to the amplifier, which is evaluated to determine the winding temperature in the motor.
