Product Description:
The AKM44J-ACCNDA-00 is a compact motor unit that maintains high resolution during operation and is able to comfortably meet the operation requirements of a wide range of industrial machines. This motor unit is from Kollmorgen, despite its small size, it maintains a high power density and is able to reach an operation speed as high as 6000 revolutions per minute. The motor unit features a strong output shaft designed for the smooth transmission of torque during the motor operation. This shaft also contains a keyway that prevents relative movement throughout the motor operation. There is no holding brake integrated into this motor unit; it is also without a shaft seal and is classified as an IP54 unit. The feedback unit of the motor is a single turn EnDAT 2.1 optical encoder, and the maximum resolution of this encoder is about 25 bits.
The AKM44J-ACCNDA-00 motor unit contain a PTC thermistor that monitors its operation temperature and allows the drive controller to protect the motor from over-temperature damage.
