When paired with Kollmorgen’s AKD servo drives, these motors are easier to control enabling them to reach optimal performance. Employing an AKM servo motor on the factory floor guarantees performance, flexibility, fast commissioning, ease of use, and an exact fit solution packaged in a standard product.

The AKM44H-ACGNAB-00 is a servo motor designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. The motor belongs to the AKM series. Motors in this series are known to have a high motor power density, low cogging, and eliminates homing methods which in turn minimizes wiring costs and cycle time. The AKM44H-ACGNAB-00 is easy to use reducing the set-up or replacement time. AKM motors are designed to accommodate mounting standards that meet Japanese, North American, European, among other common standards allowing the motors to be used in a global scale.

The Kollmorgen AKM44H-ACGNAB-00 has a rotatable single connector allowing connections to be made without being interfered with by the mounting position. Note that the connectors are supposed to be rotated before connections are made and left in a fixed position once the connections have been made. To accommodate a wide range of industrial applications, the AKM brushless servo motors are available in 28 frame-stack length combinations, frame sizes ranging from 40 millimeters to 260 millimeters, and with support for assorted feedback devices or options.
