The AKM44H-ACGNAB-00 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen and supplied in the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a permanent-magnet rotary actuator, it delivers precise position and velocity control for packaging stations, pick-and-place modules, and similar motion axes in automated machinery where repeatable servo response is required. The motor is delivered without a factory-fitted holding brake, so external mechanical locking is required if power-off retention is needed.

Power and signal terminations are made through 2 SpeedTec Ready connectors, allowing quick plug-in installation and keyed mating that resists misalignment. Position feedback is provided by a 2048 lines per revolution incremental scale that is read by the integrated BiSS B encoder, and this digital protocol transmits absolute position and diagnostic data over a bidirectional serial link. For extended travel tracking, the sensor includes multi-turn optical counting so the controller can recover the true axis angle after power cycling. The encoder head follows the AD34/AD58 mechanical format, which helps maintain compatibility with existing feedback interface layouts.
