The AKM series of motors is among these products. This series is designed to be driven by SERVOSTAR amplifiers and for drives for machine tools, industrial robots, packaging machines, and more. The AKM44G-GCCNR-01 comprises of Resolver feedback, shaft with keyway, and 0.5m shielded cables with angular connectors. It has an 84mm alternative IEC standard flange and a G winding type. When combined with Kollmorgen digital amplifier it becomes ideal for positioning tasks that require high dynamics and stability.
This DC motor is permitted to be brought to operation only under predetermined ambient conditions. They include an operating temperature of 5 to 40 degrees, a climate category of 3K3, and permissible humidity of 95% without condensation. The ball-bearing life is capped at 20,000 operating hours. Avoid using force or blows during assembly to mitigate bearings’ destruction. The AKM44G-GCCNR-01 features rare earth neodymium-iron-boron magnetic materials that enable the servo amplifier to drive the motor in a dynamic way.
