The AKM44G-ANCNAB-00 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Kollmorgen for the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. This frame-size model is intended for precise positioning and velocity control in automated machinery, where its permanent-magnet rotor and closed-loop feedback support packaging stations, pick-and-place axes, and other motion tasks that demand repeatable accuracy. The “G” winding designation matches this frame with drives that supply the appropriate voltage and current for mid-range dynamic applications. Its synchronous design supports responsive torque control across changing speed and load conditions.
The housing spans a compact 84 mm across the mounting face, and the front incorporates an IEC flange with accuracy class N so the motor can be coupled to gearheads or mechanical fixtures without additional alignment sleeves. Power and feedback are routed through two SpeedTec-ready connectors that permit quick locking during cable installation. The AD34/AD58 electrical format communicates the rotor angle to the motion controller. The motor has a rotor length index of 4, corresponding to the magnetic stack depth used to achieve higher continuous torque without increasing the frame size.
