The AKM44E-BKCNR-00 synchronous servomotor manufactured by Kollmorgen must be used with a digital servo amplified from SERVOSTAR. Only professionals should perform the setup and assembly of the motor after reading and understanding the product manual. At any time, the device must be handled with extreme caution. If the connectors are unplugged when the device is in operation, it could lead to severe injury, material damage or even death. A proper low-resistance earth connection is required for the motor to render electrical safety. The connected servo amplifier drives the three-phase winding of the servomotor. The unit’s standard weight is 5.3 kg. The maximum bus voltage rating of the motor is 640 VDC. Its flange size is 84 mm and the rotor length is 4. The servomotor features E type winding and is equipped with an open keyway shaft. The device comes with rotatable angular connectors to facilitate power supply and feedback signals. The product has a standstill torque of 5.76 Nm and a standstill current of 2.90 A with a tolerance of +/- 10%. The rotor moment of inertia of the unit is 2.7 kgcm².
