Product Description:
The Kollmorgen AKM44E-ANC2R-00 synchronous servomotor has no retrofitting option. This motor and the servo amplifier in combination form a closed speed or torque control loop. The product comes with a resolver for its feedback. This device does not perform any commutation as it has no brushes. The unit has a 10% increase in the radial force when there is a power take-off from the center of the free end of the shaft. Its bearings are intended to be replaced after 20,000 hours of operation. This motor encompasses a PTC with electrical isolation. The product housing finish is not resistant to solvents like nitro-thinners, trichloroethylene or similar agents. This device makes use of angular rotatable connectors. The unit does not come with the required mating connectors and these have to be procured separately. Its shaft is not protected against oil mist and oil spray. The motor has an E-type three-phase winding. This product should have unhindered ventilation to reduce the overheating possibility. The motor transportation must be done taking care to ensure that its insulation clearances do not get altered and/or its components are not bent in the process. The product lifespan tends to get reduced significantly because of axial loading on the shaft. This device associated capacitors can have dangerous charge for five minutes after turning off the power supply. The unit related wiring diagram is available in the installation and setup instructions of the servo amplifier.
