The AKM43K-ANSN2-02 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. It interfaces with digital servo drives to close the position loop in material-handling or assembly equipment.
This model is supplied without a brake, allowing the shaft to rotate freely when power is removed and reducing axial length in applications where external holding methods are used. Position feedback comes from a Comcoder sensor that produces 2048 lines per revolution of incremental data; when interpolated by the drive, this density supports sub-arc-minute positioning.
