The AKM43G-EKCNR-01 is a brushless synchronous servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series. The motor converts electrical commands from a drive into tightly regulated rotary motion, making it suitable for indexing tables, form-fill-seal modules, and other axes where repeatability is critical. Its brushless design reduces mechanical wear associated with commutators and supports responsive operation during repeated acceleration and deceleration cycles.
This model is supplied without a brake, so a mechanical holding device or drive-generated torque is required to maintain the load position during a power loss. Power and feedback conductors connect through two SpeedTec-ready connectors, simplifying cable attachment and reducing wiring time in the control cabinet. A shaft seal is installed at the output end to limit the entry of dust or coolant around the rotating interface.
