Electrical integration is simplified by the twin connector scheme. Power and signal lines terminate on two SpeedTec Ready connectors, allowing keyed, quarter-turn locking without additional tools. For position feedback, the motor employs an encoder with 2048 lines/rev, so each mechanical revolution is subdivided into 2048 distinct incremental counts that the drive interpolates for fine commutation. The sensing hardware is the Kollmorgen Comcoder, a mixed incremental and absolute device that combines Hall tracks and optical marks. Its absolute channel uses a single-turn optical design, meaning the exact shaft angle is available after power-up, but multi-turn revolution counting is not stored. The encoder carries the identifier EPC 15T, which matches the drive’s feedback tables for automatic parameter loading. Mechanical mounting follows the NEMA flange pattern, giving predictable pilot and bolt-circle dimensions for machine integration.

The rotor is built to index 2, which is the second length in the 42-frame range and provides a balance between torque output and overall mass.
