The AKM42G-ACCNDB00 Kollmorgen synchronous servomotor is one of the multiple servomotors in the AKM product group of such motors. The device has a brushless design and is recommended for demanding servo applications. This unit along with a SERVOSTAR servo amplifier delivers a closed torque or speed control loop. It has a rated speed of 3500 min-1 at 230 V. The servomotor is equipped with three phases. This product is prone to axial and radial forces on its shaft and bearings when it is in operation. The device has no holding brake. This unit may encounter the destruction of its bearings when the couplings on its housing are not properly aligned. It must be ensured that the motor shaft mounting is not mechanically constrained. The motor is not suitable for encapsulated assembly. This product should not be opened by the user for cleaning or any other purpose. This device has to always be in the de-energized state during its assembly and wiring.
