The AKM42E-ANMN2-00 Kollmorgen synchronous servomotor is driven by a SERVOSTAR servo amplifier from the same manufacturer. This motor has no holding brake. The product features dual Molex connectors on 0.5 m shielded leads. This device must not be allowed to come in contact with food and beverages. The unit must be installed only in machinery for which measures are taken to ensure that there will be no unforeseen movements that cause property damage or personnel injury. Its thermal contact must be observed and evaluated. This motor conforms to the standards of the servo system only when it is used with the components provided by the manufacturer. The product transportation and storage should be done in cardboard packaging with Instapak foam cushion. This device is meant to be maintained and cleaned only by qualified personnel. The unit uses a comcoder with 2048 PPR for feedback. Its electrically isolated PTC has a rated temperature of 155 ?C +/-5%. This motor has a vibration class of N according to DIN EN 60034-14 specifications. The product has a flange of 84 mm in size. This device and the servo amplifier together offer a closed speed and/or torque control loop in the drive system in which they are used. The product must not be subject to brute force as this can damage its flange and shaft. This device should have minimum to no axial load on the shaft as the axial load tends to reduce the lifespan of the motor. The unit is intended to be wired only by people qualified and trained in electrical engineering. Its capacitors can have dangerous voltage from the residual charge for five minutes after the power supply is disconnected.
